While assuring that the Fund would continue to bolster its investments in quality and productive education to enable Nigeria fit into the global stage, he stated that the Fund would consider the peculiar needs of NOUN to ensure that study centres have necessary equipment and devices for seamless study. In a brief remark, the Vice Chancellor of NOUN, Prof. Olufemi Peters also expressed appreciation to the Executive Secretary and his team for the support rendered to the university over the years, noting that the achievements recorded by the university under his tenure were due to TETFund’s support. He disclosed that TETFund is studying the education models of Japan, Finland, the United States and Germany to upgrade Nigeria’s curriculum. This he said informed the design of the TERAS platform which will connect over 400 digital libraries and give students access to the same learning resources used in top global institutions. He added that entrepreneurship and real time learning will be integrated into curricula nationwide.
